Ohio data center projects in government records, 2026

7 data center projects found in Ohio Power Siting Board, Wood County Planning Commission, Piqua City Commission and Ohio Tax Credit Authority records dated April 26 to October 26, 2026. None of the records we opened gives a backup generator count; 4 Power Siting Board records give megawatts for gas plants proposed or approved to supply data centers, 2 of them with battery storage megawatts. Every project links to its government record.

Ohio EPA air permit documents and the PUCO case dockets could not be read automatically when we checked, so draft generator permits are missing, and we did not check most county and township boards outside the places named here; this is a sample, not a complete list.
