Florida data center projects in government records, 2026

5 data center projects found in Florida government records dated April 26 to October 26, 2026: county zoning, site plan and comprehensive plan records in Palm Beach, DeSoto and Citrus counties and city rezoning and site plan records in Fort Pierce and North Port. None of the records we opened states a generator count or rating; one Palm Beach County site plan approval designates an equipment area for battery storage units. Every project links to its government record.

Florida air permit notices and Public Service Commission large load filings we opened did not name individual data center projects, DeSoto County staff reports could not be read automatically, and most Miami, Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville area agendas were not checked. This is a sample, not a complete list.
